Sargent’s Gardens is an outgrowth of a four-generation family business founded in Red Wing in 1928. Sargent’s has been active in Rochester since 1971. Forrest and Faye Sargent, their son Nick and his wife Nina own and operate two retail garden centers and offer full landscaping services and floral design.

Sargent’s Gardens has more than 60,000 square feet of greenhouse facilities and 40 acres of growing fields, and offers roughly 175,000 annuals and perennials, 39 different varieties of roses and 575 varieties of woody plants every year. All trees, shrubs and evergreens come with a two-year warranty and most of the perennials with a 30-day guarantee. This is extended to one year with the purchase of Monrovia’s Planting Compost.
